Your responsibilities:

Your tasks will include:

  • Monitoring, analysing, and following up on privacy-related requests from internal departments, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Conducting various impact assessments such as DPIAs, LIAs and TIAs to identify and mitigate privacy risks
  • Monitoring changes in privacy and technology laws, such as the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), e-Privacy Directive, AI Act, Digital Services Act, and country-specific privacy laws such as AVG
  • Reviewing and amending data protection agreements (DPAs) with partners and vendors
  • Delivering training and awareness programs to employees on data protection and privacy best practices
  • Developing, updating and implementing privacy policies, procedures, guidelines and materials
  • Working closely with the IT and Security departments to implement and enforce effective data protection measures and support responses to data incidents
  • Managing conflicting interests and priorities, ensuring a balanced approach to privacy concerns while aligning with business goals

About you:

  • You are passionate about privacy and data protection
  • You hold a relevant academic degree, such as a Master’s in Technology Law or Information Security, giving you knowledge of data protection laws. Knowledge of contracting is a plus.
  • You bring 1-3 years of experience in privacy, data protection, legal or compliance roles
  • You are fluent in English. Dutch and any additional languages are an advantage
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You can assess privacy issues and develop practical, effective solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability. Collaboration and developing internal professional relationships are key to this role.
  • Appreciative of diversity; polite and effective in a multicultural, international organization
  • Familiarity with One Trust or similar privacy management tools is a plus
