Corporate Citizenship Lead Opportunity

THE WORK

As the Netherlands Corporate Citizenship Lead, you play an essential role in delivering the outcomes of our Corporate Citizenship program across the Netherlands. You will undertake strategic market-facing activities that can only be effectively executed locally, including relationship development and management, local leadership support and insights, marketplace representation with government, clients, peers and partners, and creating locally resonant programming that aligns with global priorities. You will collaborate with and guide the work of team members across our global network who support the operational aspects of the Corporate Citizenship program.

  • Activating Global Corporate Citizenship Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to position Accenture as a good corporate citizen in the Netherlands and drive social and environmental impact in the communities where we work and live, aligned to our global Corporate Citizenship strategy. Collaborate across markets to share best practices, identify teaming opportunities, and represent the Netherlands in the global Corporate Citizenship network. Lead efforts to increase ROI by aligning Corporate Citizenship investment, strategy and credentials to wider business priorities.
  • Portfolio and Finance Management: Manage the Citizenship Partner and Programme Portfolio to achieve country-level portfolio objectives and measurable impacts, including overseeing development and launch of new projects, products and partnerships; sourcing, qualifying, shaping and proposing opportunities for investment via cash giving and pro bono consulting; ensuring robust due diligence and oversight on all Corporate Citizenship investment spend; managing MU Local Giving, Pro Bono and Volunteering budgets and pipeline to achieve spend targets and impact goals; and managing the Accenture Foundation locally to support Accenture global and local Corporate Citizenship strategy.
  • Stakeholder Management: Actively engage and manage all relevant internal stakeholders (MU SMD/Lead, MU Leadership Team, MU Corporate Citizenship Sponsor/CCC Member, client team leadership, and local Corporate Citizenship sponsors) to drive the social impact agenda across the Netherlands. Collaborate with Corporate Function leads to deliver additional return on investment by ensuring our social impact also reflects wider business priorities.
  • Relationship Building: Build and manage effective relationships with NGOs, ecosystem partners and clients to enable delivery of local citizenship goals.
  • Employee Engagement and Participation: Oversee delivery of locally resonant employee engagement activities alongside Market Support and People Participation teams, including employee giving, disaster relief efforts, and volunteering programs.
  • Drive Innovation: Spearhead Corporate Citizenship change initiatives in the local market. Identify and propose new products to support MU, Market and Global Corporate Citizenship and drive continuous improvement of Citizenship programs.
  • Marketplace Profile: Serve as the internal and external Corporate Citizenship champion in the local market to expand Accenture and Corporate Citizenship marketplace visibility and strengthen client positioning. Support RFPs, business development efforts, and client conversations. Support leadership for external events and briefings.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Oversee measurement and actively manage the performance of corporate citizenship programmes across the local portfolio.
  • MarComms: Surface ideas and collaborate with Marketing & Communications to promote Accenture Social Impact internally and externally.
  • Team and Resource Management: Lead a high-performance team of permanent, pro bono and volunteer team members within MU, Market, and the Global Corporate Citizenship hubs to achieve program results.
