Research & Innovation Internship: Packaging Adult Category

Are you passionate about bringing ideas to life through design and compelling visuals? Are you a self-driven person who is passionate about sustainability? Then join us as our Packaging Adult Category Intern (Liquid and Co-manufacturing) from 1st of November 2025.

In your role as Packaging Adult Category Intern, being part of the Global Packaging Team based in Utrecht, your key responsibilities are:

  • Map and explore our current portfolio and competition, bringing a holistic view of packaging covering packaging details and their sustainability status as per PPWR regulations.
  • Support packaging projects on lab testing, machine trials and transport tests to validate product life cycle.
  • Benchmark competition packs for our oral adult nutrition portfolio, including functionalities, user experience and sustainability.
  • Assess our packaging designs and suggest possible improvements.

Sobre ti

As a Packaging Adult Category Intern, you’re eager to gain hands-on experience in an international and fast-paced environment. You’re confident working independently, communicating clearly, and approaching tasks with creativity and initiative. You can confidently use AutoCAD, 3D, or SolidWorks, and you’re ready to contribute to real-world design projects.

Knowledge of Power BI and Advanced Excel is a plus. You’re a curious and proactive learner, excited to grow your skills while collaborating with a supportive team.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's/ master's student Packaging, Industrial Design Engineering, Materials Science, or Engineering (during the whole period of the internship).
  • You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit).
  • You are available to start in November 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • You are fluent in English - spoken and written.
  • You are able to work from our Utrecht office, 4 times per week.

We offer:

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.

* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
