Your Job: Brooks is the leader in performance run at retail and has won by creating connections between the brand, the retailer and consumer. As the runner becomes more and more digitally connected, we see an opportunity to win with the runner and retailer by building this connection in the digital world through partnership with our retailers that pushes the boundaries beyond where we are now.

This role supports the Retail Marketing Manager in managing and growing relationships with the marketing teams of Brooks’s most relevant clients. It contributes to the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, coordinates with internal teams, and helps ensure client satisfaction to support revenue growth and brand awareness within the wholesale key account distribution. The role also assists in the preparation of marketing-related sales meetings and presentations with key accounts, and supports the Retail Marketing Manager in the strategic planning of seasonal key account deployment. Additionally, it helps with the planning and tracking of the EMEA key account marketing budget, including allocation and usage monitoring.

Reporting to the Retail Marketing Manager EMEA, this person will join a team of marketing and advertising specialists who use their unique skill sets to help Brooks grow their businesses in the Key Account and Retail space without neglecting the importance of brick & mortar retail. While this role sits within the EMEA marketing team, cross-functional collaboration with the EMEA ecommerce team, the local markets, external agencies and Brooks accounts will be critical.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Key Account Marketing:
  • Work with internal partners, external agencies and retail accounts to set up and manage Brooks exposure on retail Key Account partner channels.
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams and colleagues, and external agencies to create creative material for Key Account bespoke campaigns and activations based on the seasonal campaigns.
  • Support Retail Marketing Manager to plan and use the Focus Account / Key Account yearly marketing budget under ensuring that investment are focused to reach the company goals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Key clients and respective country Brooks marketing and sales teams, serving as the primary point of contact for questions.
  • Partner with sales team, product development team, integrated marketing and country marketing teams to ensure clients’ needs are met and to identify new marketing and business opportunities.
  • Support Retail Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of Marketing campaigns and marketing tailored projects and assets, content creation and promotional activities bespoke for Key account needs to drive engagement and conversions and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Track and analyze KPIs specific for the Key Account executions (e.g., sell through, online and in store traffic, reach and consumer engagement), providing quarterly reports and regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Regularly communicate with client's marketing teams providing updates and ensuring their satisfaction with Brooks's products and services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to proactively find potential risks and new opportunities; share any findings with Retail Marketing Manager, EMEA.
  • Contribute to the planning and coordinate execution of shop-in-shop concepts, designated in-store campaign or brand floorspace or events for key retailers.
  • Travel with Sales to account meetings and trade fairs/shows for retail marketing presentations and other commitments.
  • Work with internal partners, external agencies and retail accounts to set up and monitor Brooks exposure on retail Key Account partner channels.
  • Ensure Brooks brand guidelines and standards are upheld and promoted in all channels.
  • Coordinate legal and compliance approvals for all marketing initiatives.
  • Research new industry trends/opportunities for increased online sales and other online marketing efforts.

Retail eCommerce support:

  • Assist in updating Brooks digital files: product imagery, descriptions and categorization as needed with our international retail partners.
  • Review brand landing pages and content zones are optimally merchandised with appropriate products and descriptions, as well as marketing campaigns highlighted at the Key Account retailers’ platforms.

Your Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of online marketing experience (in sporting goods industry or retail is a plus).
  • Strong computer skills required; MS Office, Power Point, Excel, Google Analytics and Web based CMS tools.
  • Internet/eCommerce/social media/mobile savvy; must use the internet extensively in their daily life and be up to date on the latest trends.
  • A knowledge & passion for commerce/shopping trends and delivering a best-in-class user experience to our consumers.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Self-starter with the confidence and initiative to make things happen.
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written, oral, time management and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (absolute must), other European language skills are a plus (German, French, Italian, Dutch and/or Spanish).
  • Be a running enthusiast and/or practice an active lifestyle, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner in order to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community.
  • Able to travel 25% of working time.
