About the role

You will be part of the corporate Treasury department, which is well advanced, using the latest technologies and perceived as best in class compared to other large global companies. It is also a very internationally oriented team who supports not only the Head of Treasury but also other Finance functions, business, and markets across the globe.

The team is responsible for all the Treasury business processes and operational activities ranging from In House bank, KYC activities, and Bank Account Management as well as Risk & Cash Management and Corporate Finance.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Execute E2E operational activities related to daily Treasury Operations, In-house Bank, and Bank account management, including: transaction/payments processing, settlements confirmations, bank account reconciliation, and reporting
  • Opening, closing, and maintaining bank accounts – including KYC/AML activities and signatory updates
  • Lead Annual Bank account review for all Versuni entities
  • Manage claims from/to external counterparties and take necessary actions to prevent claims
  • Ensuring Straight to processing rate (STP) is close to 100%
  • Ensure internal controls are executed in a complete/accurate manner respecting all deadlines and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Resolve operational queries and escalations when process/operational issues arise
  • Support internal and external customers/counterparties as part of centre of expertise related to Treasury operational processes
  • Work closely with other Treasury colleagues, at global and regional levels, in order to meet company targets
  • Working with IT on unresolved/escalated system issues, support in systems implementations/upgrades and user testing
  • Other special projects and responsibilities, as assigned

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor/Master finance education
  • Starters role, one or two year experience in a Treasury or Finance environment
  • Reporting, analytical and numerical skills
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Understanding of Financial instruments
  • Payments industry experience preferable (internship at a Bank)
  • Critical mind set with focus on improvements and innovations- LEAN
  • Must be a self-starter, have the ability to think outside the box; strong attention to detail with the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and carry out multiple priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English) to effectively communicate with both internal and external parties in a customer service mind set
  • Actively promote teamwork, leading by example and taking initiative to assist others
  • Operational knowledge of SAP is preferred
