CONTEXT

Food is hot! And especially the Food that is Easy to Eat is hotter than ever. As the market leader, Unilever plays a crucial role in growing both the category and our brands. To pursue this growth, we have strong plans in place for the next few years.

In team Condiments, we are looking for a highly motivated Brand Manager with a strong can-do mentality and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be working on both the Hellmann’s and Calvé brand, from bringing innovations to the market to social first marketing campaigns. Your role will be very diverse, covering both the NL and BE markets.

JOB PURPOSE & MAIN REPONSIBILITIES

  • P&L delivery on ambitious growth targets, on both, top & bottom line.
  • Developing a long-term growth roadmap to drive market making with our customers.
  • Setting the portfolio strategy, tracking progress, and making informed choices to ensure optimal outcomes in line with Unilever’s Growth Action Plan.
  • Collaborate with our creative and media agencies to produce compelling and impactful shopfloor materials and activations.
  • Crafting the local execution Brand Experience communication & activation plan within the IBP cycles
  • Collaborating across functions, teams (NL CBD & CSP and Belgium market) & agencies to deliver innovation and relaunch projects on time and in full;
  • Cocreate with the DMC team the strategy and roadmap to transform to social first
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the brands, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the overall brand strategy.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the category in frontline with our consumers and customers.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN THE CANDIDATE

  • You are a passionate foodie: shopping it, cooking it, trying new flavours, eating it, sharing it and talking about it.
  • You have an entrepreneurial and agile mindset, a strong business acumen, you like to think beyond the obvious and are a change catalyst.
  • You have broad experience and proven track record in marketing, understanding people’s needs, building brands through all channels, innovation and mix development and execution in the market, and project management
  • You have passion for high performance. You inspire and lead with the right energy to win and grow, taking personal responsibility and accountability for execution and results.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • 5 years+ experience in Local marketing, strong preference for Nutrition expertise
  • Proven experience in Business, preference a talent with CSP and/or Sales experience
  • Affinity with Digital media, and proven experience with Social Media.
  • Native Dutch speaker
