Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

This role is responsible for maximizing the sales, profitability, and brand equity of European e-commerce through the management and execution of:

  • Inventory and Allocation Management: lead the process to monitor and action article-level inventory positions across the European Omnichannel DCs and inbound network to ensure the best possible availability for the consumer on .com and App.
  • Merchandising Operations Management: drive strategic development and alignment of merchandising operational cross-functional topics with stakeholders in the business.
  • Support the Personalization business to ensure this premium service is delivered to consumers consistently and effectively across the broadest range possible across DCs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Product Merchandising teams by driving key topics ranging from product cycle, inventory management, availability tracking and operational support for promotional activities and new launches.
  • Focus on Time Availability and related reporting by acting as key POC with Product Supply and SCM teams. Ensure that eCom needs are raised and answered by Product Supply teams, with information being regularly cascaded to the eCom business, flagging risks and opportunities.
  • Support the Personalization business to ensure this premium service is delivered to consumers consistently and effectively across the broadest range and markets possible.
  • Drive the implementation of Multinodes and eCom-specific projects via DC prefill and represent eCom business interest in relation to:
    • Article detail forecasting per region/node to ensure the maximum number of regional orders are shipped from the nearest node.
    • Management of the above in collaboration with Product Merchandising to ensure article selection deadlines, STO forecasting with Demand Planning and SCM, coordination with SCM for high volume forecasts for optimal warehouse organization to maintain SLA agreements.
  • Act as Overall POC for campaign management for B&P, responsible for providing feedback and analysis to the B&P team and wider stakeholders.
  • Ranging and Deployment input to ensure the right product selection:
    • Early involvement with the Deployment team to provide consolidated input on regional trends to better deploy articles and volumes from the factory (production) to regional nodes.
    • Act as team POC to support the setup of the local eCom DCs network expansion
  • Supporting Merch Ops in enabling eCom capabilities like Known Back Orders, pre-orders, Partner Program/eCom launches, support with stock movements, and other stock management and clearance activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong numeric, analytical and writing attitude
  • Advanced level of English, good communication skills
  • Advanced Computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge of Stock Management/ Reporting Systems preferred– SAP, MicroStrategy, Power BI
  • Hands-on working attitude
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
  • Modification of systems, processes, or working methods in own area of responsibility, requiring analysis of complex issues
  • Structured, organized, and process-oriented
  • Attention to detail
  • Dashboarding/Data Visualization experience a plus

Requisite Education and Experience

  • University degree, ideally in business with a sales and finance focus or equivalent professional experience
  • 3 -5 years’ experience in merchandising or SCM-related functions
  • eCom experience preferred
  • Project management and Operations experience preferred
