Sustainability is embedded in Danone's company mission, our 2030 Danone Impact Journey targets, and our global packaging sustainability strategy. As a Digital Packaging Sustainability Intern, you will play a key role in supporting this strategy through analyzing packaging data to create valuable insights and sustainability KPIs to help Danone achieve its sustainability goals and make informed decisions about future packaging choices. You will assist in building, deploying, maintaining, and improving our Specialized Nutrition packaging footprint digital tool, and support Danone teams in its application. Additionally, you will leverage existing and emerging digital tools, including AI, to provide quick and efficient access to sustainability data and insights.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Consolidate, analyze and transform packaging data into concrete sustainability KPIs and valuable insights to enable decision-making and prioritization of pack sustainability projects.
  • Support the deployment, maintenance, and improvement of our Specialized Nutrition (SN) packaging footprint digital tool, as well as assisting Danone teams on its application.
  • Leverage existing and emerging digital (AI) tools for smarter/efficient access to sustainability data and insights for quick and efficient decision-making.

Sobre ti

As a Digital Packaging Sustainability Intern, data management will be second nature to you. You can confidently use Microsoft Excel, pay great attention to detail, and are able to analyze, synthesize and interpret vast amounts of data into meaningful conclusions. Knowledge of PowerBi and GenAI prompting (Copilot) is a plus. You’re a data savvy and strong team player, who has curiosity and passion about circular economy, packaging and sustainability. On top of that? You are a good communicator, who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

There are also some compulsory requirement:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's/ Master's student in Business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
  • Ideally available to start in October/ November 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
  • You are able to work from Utrecht, at least 2 times per week;
  • Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.
