The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. JOB PURPOSE:

Are you a detail-oriented engineering professional with a passion for coordination and continuous improvement? Join our team as an Engineering Coordinator and help drive operational excellence across our factory network.

As the Engineering Coordinator, you will support the execution of engineering initiatives, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure smooth communication between teams. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and a proactive mindset who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Coordination: Support the planning and execution of engineering projects by tracking timelines, resources, and deliverables.

  • Team Support: Assist engineering managers and teams by organizing meetings, preparing documentation, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.

  • Cross-functional Liaison: Act as a bridge between engineering, R&D, production, and other departments to ensure clear communication and efficient workflow.

  • Process Documentation: Maintain accurate records of engineering processes, updates, and best practices.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and support the implementation of improvement initiatives.

  • Compliance & Safety: Help ensure engineering activities comply with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Data Management: Collect and analyse data related to engineering performance, project progress, and resource utilization.

  • Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenditures, providing updates to relevant stakeholders.

  • Technology Support: Stay informed about new tools and technologies that can enhance engineering coordination and efficiency.

  • Training & Onboarding: Support onboarding and training activities for new engineering team members and contractors.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering, technical coordination, or project support role.

  • Experience with Lean, TPM, or WCM methodologies is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support factory operations.

SKILLS:   

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with engineering principles and manufacturing environments.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Technical understanding of ice cream/food technologies is advantageous.
