IDEXX is looking for an Executive Assistant - International Human Resources to support our HR Director, the HR CoE Leads, and wider Organizations in Europe and APO (Asia Pacific). As an international Assistant, you will help organize and coordinate the main communication processes and activities within the European and APO HR teams. You will work directly with and assist the Human Resources Director and the wider department.

The purpose of the IDEXX Human Resources Organization is to enable meaningful and engaging experiences for all our IDEXX employees through innovative people practices. HR is evolving just as fast as IDEXX and we are working on lots of new initiatives to improve the value we provide to the business and our managers and employees. In this Role

  • You will Report to the International HR Director and the wider HR organization.
  • You will organize and schedule meetings or events, ensure the meeting agenda is available, and coordinate follow-up.
  • You will manage projects with team members where and when required.
  • You will prepare presentation and communication material upon request.
  • You will support the organization of onboarding plans.
  • You will arrange for quarterly HR highlights and distribute them as needed.
  • You will support preparation for Work Council meetings.
  • You will arrange HR communication and projects database to ensure easy access for the full HR community.
  • You will support travel arrangements and itineraries
  • You will leverage on our HRIS Workday to provide metrics, statistics, and reports.

What You Need to Succeed

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in administrative and organizational tasks in an international matrixed organization.
  • You are reliable and personable; enjoy working with a diverse range of individuals and ensuring employee requirements and needs are met first.
  • You are a highly organized and efficient worker and an excellent collaborator.
  • You have strong communication skills, and you are fluent in English and at least another European language, both verbal and in writing.
  • You have strong skills using Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS (especially Workday is highly valued).
  • You are tech savvy; data-driven and have experience using different technological tools.
  • You have a high level of accuracy and the ability to work effectively and independently.
  • You have a problem-solving mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
  • You can deal with changing priorities and challenges.
  • You have professional integrity and a high sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • You have emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn, and take and receive feedback constructively.
  • You have high ethical standards and a positive attitude.
