Join Our Global Digital Team as a Social Media Intern

We’re looking for a highly motivated, creative and organized Social Media Intern to join our global Digital team. You’ll support the Global Senior Social Media Manager in executing global campaigns, managing key processes, and further assisting in rolling out a major Social Media project. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of global strategy, creative development, and operational/process alignment across teams and markets.

Location: Amsterdam (hybrid, 2-3 days in the office)
Type: Internship (non-thesis)
Duration: 6-12 months
Working Hours: Full-time (40h/w) preferable
Expected Start date: ASAP

The impact you’ll make:

Campaign Support

  • Assist in planning, briefing, and operating global social media campaigns.
  • Support the rollout and operational tasks of a Global Social Media project, working with our global agency and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain owned channels updated
  • Help manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and asset coordination.
  • Support internally operationally to ensure social media governance in collaboration AdTech team & markets.

Internal Communication & Process Implementation

  • Help organize and distribute social media updates.
  • Support the planning and execution of Workshops with local markets.
  • Coordinate the monthly global content submission calendar.
  • Provide support in the performance report process.
  • Assist in documenting and optimizing new social media processes and workflows to improve global team efficiency.
  • Support in developing and consolidating social media toolkits and sharing across markets respecting commercial readiness deadlines.
  • Support with trend research, competitor benchmark, and audience insights to inform content strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with internal teams (App, DTC, eComm) to align key social media support for campaign rollouts.
  • Close contact with Influencer & PR teams as well as CM teams to ensure brand alignment across all touchpoints.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Passion for social media, storytelling, and digital innovation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Process oriented, with some skills of Excel/Power Point to provide crucial process organization, data consolidation & presentation development.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
  • Curious mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas creatively.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and others.
  • English speaker (fluent)

Students from outside the EU need to fill in an NUFFIC agreement, which needs to be signed by the student and the university. Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
