  • Help drafting and reviewing SaaS agreements, DPAs, privacy notices, and internal policies
  • Help monitor evolving laws and assist in translating them into clear internal guidance

  • Support compliance efforts in areas like data protection, accessibility and responsible AI
  • Help conduct assessments (e.g. DPIAs, product risk reviews) under guidance from Legal or Information Security teams
  • Support compliance readiness for audits
  • Promote and help implement privacy by design, ethics by design, and trustworthy AI development practices
  • Support the creation of user-centric policies and safeguards, especially for students, educators, and institutions using our technology

Building Trust with Stakeholders

  • Assist in building customer confidence by helping to shape external-facing trust collateral, including compliance overviews, security whitepapers, and RFP responses
  • Support vendor and partner due diligence processes, ensuring high standards across our ecosystem
  • Contribute to internal compliance messaging that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with cross-functional teams

Growing a Culture of Integrity

  • Support internal training and guidance on key compliance areas (e.g. data ethics, privacy, responsible communication) sessions
  • Contribute to a compliance-first mindset across the company
  • Take ownership of small projects aligned with your interests and learning goals

What you bring

  • Driven by integrity, ethics, and a commitment to doing the right thing
  • Eager to support compliance workflows with attention to detail and common-sense and a solutions-oriented approach, aiming to independently implement structured compliance processes with pragmatic mindset
  • A natural communicator who can translate legal requirements into actionable advice
  • Enthusiastic about technology, education, and the intersection of the two
  • A degree (completed or in progress) in Law, Compliance or similar (LL.M. preferred)
  • Foundational understanding of EU and global tech regulations (such as the GDPR and the AI Act) and basic corporate/commercial law
  • Strong written and verbal English
  • Attention to detail, curiosity and a willingness to take initiative while learning to navigate a dynamic environment

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with information security standards (such as ISO 27001), accessibility standards, or ethics frameworks
  • Prior exposure to SaaS, startups, or EdTech environments

What You Get:

  • Internship compensation of €550 gross per month based on 40 hours per week
  • Travel allowance and Swapfiets subscription
  • Free access to office gym
  • Unlimited access to certified psychologists and coaches (within the EU, US, and AUS)
  • A place where you learn hands-on, get ongoing mentorship and the chance to build deep expertise in tech regulation and compliance from the ground up
  • Be part of a friendly, down-to-earth team that balances professionalism with fun, and where mentorship and growth are part of everyday work
  • Gradually taking real ownership: build processes, propose ideas, and influence how we scale responsibly
  • Work at the forefront of compliance in privacy, AI, accessibility, and tech ethics
  • Hybrid work setup, and a purpose-driven, collaborative company culture
