The ideal candidate

You’re an experienced UX designer ready to lead in a high-impact SaaS environment. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and have a strong track record in design systems, AI-driven UX, and user-centered product development.

What you will be doing

As our UX Lead Designer, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our complex SaaS platform. You’ll lead and mentor a team of 3-4 designers while staying hands-on with design work yourself. You will lay the foundation for a scalable Design System and expand it as we integrate AI into our workflows. Your decisions will be guided by customer research and data, ensuring our product remains intuitive, valuable, and future proof.

• You will develop and safeguard a clear UX vision that ensures a consistent, intuitive, and distinctive user experience.
• You’ll position design as a central discipline within our product development and across the organization.
• You will coach the design team both in their craft and in their personal growth.
• You’ll create compelling, well-founded designs yourself and guide the team in further developing them.
• You’ll work in a structured way and bring extensive experience in setting up and maintaining Figma design systems.
• You’ll translate complex business processes into simple, effective user-centered solutions.
• You’ll collaborate closely with product and development teams to ensure seamless implementation.
• You’ll stay on top of the latest trends in digital design and inspire the team with fresh ideas, tools, and AI applications (like vibe-coding).
• You will present concepts and designs in a clear, visually engaging, and persuasive way – both internally and to external stakeholders.

Your profile:

• You bring 5-10+ years of experience as a Senior UX Designer or UX Lead, with proven leadership skills.
• You have a strong portfolio of work with complex SaaS products and design systems that you are happy to walk us through, during the interview process.
• You are familiar with leading and maintaining a design system.
• You have a sharp analytical mind, capable of zooming in on design details while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
• You're experienced working in agile, multidisciplinary teams and thrive in collaborative environments.
• You’re an expert in Figma.
• You’re interested in integrating AI into the design processes.
• You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to inspire your team and engage stakeholders.
• You're fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written (native-level English not required).
• You’re willing and able to work hybrid: 3 days a week from our office, 2 days from home.

• For this role, we offer a competitive salary in the range of €4.000–€5.800 gross base monthly, depending on your skills and experience.
