Located in either Brussels or Rotterdam, you will collaborate with pricing teams and fellow actuaries to drive strategic initiatives that enhance capital efficiency and support financial stability. Your analytical skills and understanding of actuarial principles will be key in guiding capital allocation and performing stress tests to ensure solvency.

Your Responsibilities?

• Collaborate with pricing teams to understand product characteristics and assess their impact on capital management strategies.
• Conduct risk-return analyses to evaluate the profiles and capital generation potential of Life & Health and Property & Casualty products.
• Partner with business units to guide and optimize capital allocation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Forecast capital needs based on business growth projections and market trends.
• Perform stress tests and scenario analyses to forecast the impact of financial stresses on solvency.
• Assist in solvency closing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop and automate tools and reporting processes to enhance efficiency in capital management.

Your Profile:

We are seeking a candidate with at least a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field, with a first experience in actuarial or capital management role. You should be eager to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that fosters innovation and collaboration. Proficiency in programming and data analysis tools is essential, along with a solid understanding of insurance and finance principles. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Dutch and/or French is considered a plus.
