In this vital role, you’ll conduct rigorous quality checks throughout the supply chain, maintaining exceptional standards of product quality with a keen eye for detail. Tricks of the trade

  • Inspecting fruits and vegetables: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming fruit and vegetable shipments to assess freshness and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Investigating quality issues: Investigate and address any issues related to our fresh produce or customer complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Evaluating supplier performance: Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders: Collaborate closely with our procurement team to select reputable suppliers and ensure that all products meet our standards for our Fruits and Vegetables.
  • Ensuring compliance: Work closely with our operations team to ensure proper handling, cold chain compliance, and transportation of products, maintaining freshness and excellence of our produce.

We're looking for

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.​
  • Proficiency in inspection processes, inspection techniques, and food safety regulations.​
  • Desirable expertise in fruit and vegetable standards, grading systems, and industry best practices.​
  • 1+ years of experience in quality control/assurance, in the food industry with a focus on fresh products.​
  • Background related to food, agriculture, or a relevant field is a plus.​
  • Availability for flexible working times; morning shift 06:00-15:00 and afternoon shift 14:00 - 23:00.
  • Availability for weekend shifts.
  • Good level of English; Dutch is a plus.
