Job description

As a Quality Engineer at NTS Drachten, you have a keen eye for potential errors and deviations—prevention is better than cure. By using quality indicators, audits, analyses, and close collaboration with the production floor, you continuously scan for possible risks. You never settle for “good enough” but strive for continuous improvement.

In this versatile role, you and your colleagues are responsible for our quality policy, including planning and overseeing all aspects related to quality, safety, and the environment. You will also work closely with other departments such as NPI project teams, work preparation, and the metrology department, and maintain close contact with customers and suppliers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Analyzing quality issues and gathering relevant facts;
• Assessing proposals that contribute to quality or efficiency improvements;
• Initiating, executing, and guiding improvement projects both independently and within project teams;
• Reporting to customers and suppliers on quality-related matters;
• Reviewing quality records and product deviations;
• Conducting and supervising audits, both internally and at customers/suppliers.

Your profile:

• A completed technical bachelor’s degree (HBO), such as Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering & Management;
• At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a technical (production) environment;
• Knowledge of and experience with pFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA;
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and preferably also English;
• A confident personality who works result-oriented both independently and as part of a team.

This opportunity comes with:

• A salary between €4,700 and €6,500 based on full-time employment, depending on your background and experience;

• Travel allowance based on a fixed fee for up to 50 km one-way at €0.21 per km;
