We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist for our Finance Division in Amsterdam.

The MBE subsidiary based in The Netherlands is a network of branches (Germany Branch (Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich), Spain Branch (Madrid), Belgium Branch (Brussels), Austria Branch (Vienna)), managed from Amsterdam.

Function Positioning

As FP&A Specialist you provide insights in the business performance, prepare financial projections and support the strategic decision making and new business development. You collaborate closely with various stakeholders (division heads and consolidating countries) both across MBE and in the wider EMEA network. The role reports directly into the Head of Financial Planning.

Your impact at MUFG

• Creating an insightful and high quality MI supporting the decision making process.
• Support the annual budget setting process across MBE network and budget monitoring throughout the year.
• Develop and update financial projections (forecasts) and related documentation for various stakeholders (management, regulators, head office etc.).
• Support the SREP process
• Support and advice in design, deployment and operating of financial control framework, including profitability monitoring and improvement, expense budget allocation and control.
• Capital projections and strategic capital management.
• Business partnering with all functional heads and country heads.
• Lead or participation in required strategic projects or initiatives in facilitating enhancement of financial controls, providing expertise and recommending proportional cost effective and efficient solutions

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following

• 3+ years of relevant experience such as experience in banking, or finance advisory roles, FP&A, Transaction Services, Business Consulting, etc.
• Advanced Excel, Modeling, Data Manipulation and PowerPoint presentation skills
• Affinity and experience with automation and BI tooling such as Power BI
• Analytical Abilities/Financial Acumen/Problem Solving skills
• Knowledge of both corporate banking and securities products preferred
• Preferably professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent)
• Fluent in both written and spoken English including presentation skills with the ability to explain a complex topic in a structured and clear manner
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Team player with ability to collaborate in cross-division teams and display organizational sensitivity in a very diverse environment

• Gross salary based on experience and consistent with the market
