RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Intern at the Global Transport & Customs team, you will be involved in Data Quality, Data Processing automation and Analytics. Your main focus:

• Support Transport analytics by identifying data outliers, variability, deviations and trends. This could be in the areas of CO2 emissions, Performance, and Transport costs.
• Design and support data processing streamlining & automation.
• Create actionable insights through dashboards to enable our team taking the right decisions, using the best software solutions.

OUR TEAM

The Global Transport and Customs & Trade Compliance team (GTC) provides the centre of expertise for Coty’s global transport network. It sets the strategy, frameworks, guidelines and provides functional expertise in network design across the global supply community and with the logistics community in the regions. It has the responsibility to identify and manage projects that deliver added value to the business in terms of Cost, Performance, Quality, Service, Compliance and Sustainability. The GTC Team has direct responsibility to provide best-in-class service at an optimal cost for all global Air, Ocean and Road transport operations. Furthermore, the GTC team is controlling the global freight budget and provides governance over the Control Tower Operations.

The GTC team consists of more than 30 team members (15 different nationalities!) across Europe, Asia and the United States. The majority of the team is based at the Amsterdam headquarters. You will work closely together with several departments such as Finance, Planning and Procurement, but also with external service providers. Working for GTC at Coty means being part of a very diverse team where you can develop your knowledge in Analytics, Transportation and Customs in a global, collaborative and active environment.

Our preferred starting date is in September 2025.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to work in a dynamic team and learn something new every day. As an intern at Global Transport & Customs, you are not shy to bring up new ideas and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:

• Have great analytical skills.
• Have a mindset to continuously improve.
• Have extensive experience with Excel and, ideally, Microsoft PowerBI.
• Have basic knowledge of Logistics, specifically Transportation.
