Lead Impactful Marketing Campaigns at Versuni

About the role:

Are you ready to lead impactful marketing campaigns and product activations? As a Marketing Manager at Versuni, you'll be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that connect with local consumers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, launch, and activate compelling value propositions—adapting creative, consumer-centric, and data-driven assets to local needs. You'll lead 360-degree activation campaigns across both digital and offline channels, ensuring consistent and effective execution in the local market.
Your key stakeholders include fellow Marketing Managers, the Media & PR team, Consumer Care, Supply Chain, Finance, Trade Marketing, and Sales. The ideal candidate understands how to navigate a matrix organization with diverse stakeholders—yet takes full ownership of the business. You will report to the Marketing Leader North.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Create and execute long- and short-term local marketing strategies and plans in collaboration with Marketing Category Leads, based on consumer, market, and competitor insights. Present and align strategies with management and commercial teams.
  • Manage the product portfolio, including local pricing strategies in coordination with the Commercial Excellence Team. Lead product launches, optimize performance, and define strategic roles for different products. Collaborate with global and regional teams to deliver strong product portfolio plans and initiatives.
  • Localize global content and provide strategic input to help shape new marketing toolkits through collaboration with Marketing Category Leads.
  • Partner with media agencies and strategic partners to approve and launch high-impact media campaigns. Ensure optimal budget allocation to maximize ROI.
  • Drive demand generation and ensure business targets are met, including annual sales, market share growth, price realization, Integral Gross Margin, and marketing ROI.
  • Take full responsibility for the P&L performance of your category and drive financial results accordingly.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Master’s degree, preferably in a commercial or business-related field
  • 4–8 years of experience in a marketing management or equivalent role
  • Strong consumer focus, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing ATL (above-the-line) campaigns
  • Demonstrated success in business ownership and delivering measurable results
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense for flawless execution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in French is a plus
