About you

In this new role as a Product Specialist, your responsibilities involve engaging in Capability Development within our centralized team, analyzing complex IT landscapes and deriving insights supported by solid technology understanding to drive continuous development. To thrive in this role, you should possess strong analytical skills capable of supporting your colleagues towards clearly defined objectives in Service Management & Operations, with a keen desire to ensure excellent end-user experiences.

We seek a detail-oriented and pragmatic specialist of ServiceNow with strong willpower—someone curious and capable of building trustful relations between the service management community and stakeholders. It is vital that you have the credibility and track record of achieving set goals, combined with the energetic and supportive nature needed for IT and digital organizational activities.

You should possess a good understanding of current technologies, global trends, and recognize their potential impacts on IKEA. Your solid knowledge of IT governance frameworks should be apparent, demonstrating expertise with clarity and effective communication. Ideally, your experience spans dynamic and flexible environments with vast geographical coverage.

About the job

We are seeking a candidate with comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow, specifically in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and a key focus on Service Portfolio Management. Your expertise will translate strategic goals into actionable, tactical agendas within the organization's capability framework. You will be part of the Capability Development team.

More specifically, in this role, you will be accountable for:

  • Setting the development agenda, aligning with business needs within the SM&O framework.
  • Developing and managing the SM&O Business Capability Model (IBCM) for portfolio activities.
  • Facilitating capability development and consistency across the IKEA organization and cooperating with Franchisees.
  • Overseeing end-to-end IT processes, maintaining a holistic view of IKEA's operations.
  • Presenting strategic recommendations across the organization to management.
  • Supporting digital integration within Inter IKEA by combining core business processes, people, data, and technology.
  • Supporting high-performance, secure, scalable SM&O platform development and operation.
  • Supporting Service Portfolio Management to be able to contribute to seamless business movements.

In this role, you report to our Capability Development Manager and collaborate with peers across the Inter IKEA Group, fostering uniformity and commonality within the service management framework.
