Take Your Next Step in Finance with VTTI

Are you ready to lead the financial reporting strategy of a global energy company undergoing rapid growth and transformation? As Global Head of Group Reporting at VTTI, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we report, govern, and grow across borders. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing multinational committed to sustainability and innovation.

Why Choose VTTI?

For over 18 years, VTTI has stood at the forefront of independent energy infrastructure, delivering critical solutions that power today’s world while accelerating the transition to a carbon-neutral future. Guided by our purpose – Energy to Move Tomorrow – we ensure safe, reliable access to essential energy products including fuels, chemicals, gases, and emerging sustainable alternatives. Our infrastructure supports the global energy system as it evolves toward a cleaner, more resilient future. Backed by three leading global energy investors – Vitol, IFM Investors, and ADNOC – VTTI is scaling impact across continents with a commitment to innovation, safety, and sustainability.

Our culture is built on Passion, Agility, Integrity, Connection, and Care – values that shape a workplace where people thrive. At VTTI, you’ll find a flat, collaborative environment with international reach, where cross-functional teamwork fuels progress and your contributions influence operations, finance, and strategy at the highest levels.

Your Role as Head of Accounting

As Global Head of Reporting, you will shape the financial backbone of a dynamic and internationally growing energy infrastructure company. In this high-impact leadership role, you’ll drive the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of VTTI’s global financial and non-financial reporting — ensuring compliance with evolving regulations such as IFRS and CSRD, while actively supporting strategic decision-making at the highest levels. Working directly with the Group Controller, CFO and finance teams, you’ll collaborate across finance functions globally to lead continuous improvements in reporting, consolidation, and compliance processes. This role combines technical depth with strategic influence – offering visibility across Leadership and the Board. You will serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders including the CEO, CFO, Shareholders, and external auditors, providing critical insights that shape business direction, financial strategy, and ESG transparency. If you’re ready to lead transformation at the intersection of finance, sustainability, and operational excellence, this is your opportunity.

Key Accountabilities

Reporting & Compliance

  • Lead the monthly group consolidation and management reporting process across global entities and currencies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to shareholders and senior leadership.
  • Drive the implementation of a next-generation Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform to succeed Hyperion.
  • Establish a best-in-class CSRD reporting framework to support ESG ambitions.

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Act as the finance partner to executive leadership on financial trends, risks and reporting strategies.
  • Oversee annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors.

Team Leadership & Systems

  • Champion automation and AI-driven process improvements within Group Finance.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing global reporting team.
  • Ensure robust collaboration across finance, operations, and IT.

Who Are We Looking For?

You’re a finance leader who thrives on complexity, collaboration, and clarity and brings a vision for how reporting can drive business performance. You bring a proactive and analytical mindset with a strong focus on compliance, process optimization, and stakeholder management. You have experience in an international environment and know how to elevate financial teams to the next level.

Your Background

  • 10+ years of experience in group consolidation, IFRS reporting, and audit within international corporations.
  • Proven leadership of reporting functions in complex holding structures; energy or infrastructure industry experience is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS, ESG/CSRD reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in financial process transformation and digitalization (e.g. EPM systems, AI tools).
  • CPA, RA, or RC designation preferred.
  • Strong communicator with experience engaging C-level stakeholders and auditors.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch is an asset, but not a prerequisite.

What We Offer

At VTTI, we recognize that exceptional talent deserves an exceptional environment. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Competitive compensation with a performance-based bonus that rewards results.
  • A top-tier pension plan with just 5% employee contribution securing your future.
  • 27 days of paid annual leave to rest, recharge, and explore.

  • A company laptop and iPhone for both business and personal use.
  • Ongoing development and training opportunities to accelerate your career growth.
  • A truly international workplace where your ideas and initiative can drive real impact.
  • Access to free lunch, healthy snacks and fresh fruit daily because well-being matters.

VTTI operates a network of bulk logistics assets around the world. We do so in a manner that is safe, environmentally sound and commercially advantageous for our customers and shareholders. We comply with all local legislation but are also committed to meet the highest international standards of our industry. The Company’s growth will be achieved on three fronts: expanding existing assets, acquiring new ones and developing greenfield opportunities. Although our terminals and locations vary considerably, our standards don’t. We operate to uniform standards of safety, integrity and professionalism wherever we do business. The evolution of VTTI VTTI is owned 50% by the Vitol Group, the international energy trading group, and 50% by MISC Berhad of Malaysia.

The VTTI network has grown rapidly, both by acquisition and expansion, as we seek to give our customers the best possible competitive advantage. Flexibility Ethos At VTTI, we are much more than providers of passive assets such as tanks, pipes and storage. Rather, we play an active role in helping our customers to maximise the value of their cargoes. Our customers identify imbalances in the worldwide supply of fuels, and focus on realising opportunities that will achieve the best price. In turn, this places real demands on their own supply chain, and they look to VTTI to help them create the precise specifications needed, in the right quantities, at the right time and in the right place. This demands capacity, certainly, and complete professionalism along the key trading routes of the world. But it also requires people with commercial skills, initiative and an entrepreneurial psyche that matches our clients’ own.
