Financial Planning Analyst – this is your challenge

You will support the category F&C Business Partner and BEO in the delivery of DF proposal and P&L simulations based on actuals and trends analyses, for Category F&C Business Partner to operate the numbers and take decisions. You will be part of a team of Analysts embracing the usage of oracle based platforms and SAP reporting extractions, and endorsing aligned ways of working across Categories and Markets.

As Financial Planning Analyst you have the following responsibilities:

  • Category Financial Planning performance
  • Support the optimization of the product portfolio and innovation process from a financial perspective
  • Ensure an efficient resource allocations process and analyze the resources based on the portfolio strategy
  • Prepare quarterly volume and pricing phasing reviews
  • Support the category F&C business partner in adhoc activities such as Market Business strategy
  • Attend key meetings of the category to provide financial insights

As Financial Planning Analyst you report to the Head of PF&A and you are part of the Finance department of Nestlé.

What we are looking for in our Financial Planning Analyst?

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in finance.
  • 2 to 5 years working experience, preferably in a commercial environment.
  • Naturally curious and daring to ask questions.
  • Good knowledge of basic business processes (financial planning, reporting).
  • Strong Excel skills are essential, experience with Power BI and Power Query and oracle based platforms is preferable.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus (E2E processes).
  • Understanding of the FMCG environment is a strong pré.
  • A professional level of English and preferably Dutch.
