Join us in shaping the future of quantum technology!
Job description
South Holland is home to two vibrant quantum hubs, Delft and Leiden which are part of the national Quantum Delta NL (QDNL) community. Together with Innovation Quarter, these hubs are fostering a dynamic ecosystem for quantum technology. To support this growth, we are seeking an Account Manager to join the Delft team. Your mission will be to build and maintain strong relationships with all the quantum technology companies within the Delft ecosystem.
As the Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the quantum companies on the topic of business development. Your role focuses on relationship building and management, as well as identifying potential synergies between companies, with a vision to build consortia to address funding calls and challenge. As the ecosystem Account Manager, you will be at the heart of our efforts to facilitate impactful collaborations and drive economic growth in the quantum domain.
Your Responsibilities
About the South Holland Quantum Ecosystem
TU Delft and QuTech are at the heart of the Delft hub, with a thriving quantum start-up scene growing rapidly. Leiden University anchors the Leiden hub, which has also seen strong spin-out activity. These hubs collaborate increasingly across institutions, joined by partners like the Haagse Hogeschool, LIS, and Innovation Quarter. Together, they form a vibrant ecosystem bridging academia, entrepreneurship, and public institutions to foster quantum innovation and attract global players.
Requirements
We are looking for a proactive and communicative Account Manager with a passion or strong interest for quantum technology and ecosystem building.
Please note that the position requires on-site presence in Delft, as it is not a fully remote role. While some flexibility may be possible, regular presence on location is essential due to the nature of the work and collaboration involved.
TU Delft
Delft University of Technology is built on strong foundations. As creators of the world-famous Dutch waterworks and pioneers in biotech, TU Delft is a top international university combining science, engineering and design. It delivers world class results in education, research and innovation to address challenges in the areas of energy, climate, mobility, health and digital society. For generations, our engineers have proven to be entrepreneurial problem-solvers, both in business and in a social context.
At TU Delft we embrace diversity as one of our core values and we actively engage to be a university where you feel at home and can flourish. We value different perspectives and qualities. We believe this makes our work more innovative, the TU Delft community more vibrant and the world more just. Together, we imagine, invent and create solutions using technology to have a positive impact on a global scale. That is why we invite you to apply. Your application will receive fair consideration.
Challenge. Change. Impact!
