This is how you make impact as Project Buyer

As a Project Buyer, you are part of a customer team in which you represent the procurement function. Our customers are primarily active in the semiconductor and defense industries. In our international high-tech, low-volume, high-mix production environment, you serve as a crucial link between customer requests and our suppliers. You take ownership of the procurement process from RFQ to NPI and ensure that required products are available on time—while keeping a close eye on lead time, pricing, and quality.

What you bring to the team:

  • A hands-on, can-do mentality
  • Strong communication skills and decisiveness; you're used to quickly switching between different stakeholders
  • A completed bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level)
  • 3+ years of purchasing experience in a production or project-driven environment
  • Affinity with or experience in a technical setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English (German is a plus)

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Supporting Sales during the RFQ process towards our customers; your role is to obtain the right prices and terms from both existing and new suppliers to help Neways win the offer.
  • Ensuring timely availability of materials and services to enable initial product deliveries to customers.
  • Setting up systems with pricing and parameters to ensure a smooth handover to regular operations.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders such as Sales, Engineering, and Quality
