THE ROLE

The RTW Buyer will develop and execute a cohesive, profitable seasonal assortment strategy across multiple channels and full-price stores throughout Europe. The role spans multiple product categories, including both in-house designs and licensed brands. The RTW Buyer will balance data-driven decision-making with strong fashion insight to ensure a curated, channel-specific assortment tailored to each market. This position requires a sharp eye for product, strong analytical skills, and close cross-functional collaboration to maximize full-price sales and reinforce the brand’s positioning across all platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the RTW buy across all channels, developing curated seasonal assortments that reflect regional trends, channel performance, and commercial goals, while staying true to the brand’s DNA and customer needs.
  • Manage the OTB for RTW categories across channels in partnership with planning, ensuring accurate forecasting, in-season reactivity, and budget alignment.
  • Lead product and buy sign-off reviews, ensuring the RTW assortment meets both creative and commercial expectations.
  • Present collection and DTC product strategy to key stakeholders in the business.
  • Regularly review sales, stock, and market data to identify bestsellers, underperformers, and opportunities to shift strategy in-season.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with allocation, e-com, marketplace, and retail teams to ensure effective RTW product merchandising across all platforms.
  • Align with visual merchandising and content teams on key product launches, edits, and channel specific storytelling to drive sell-through and brand engagement.
  • Prepare and contribute to weekly trade and seasonal hindsight meetings, using insights to inform future buys and adjust strategy.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive research and market analysis to create product and pricing strategy that drives brand differentiation, supports growth, and ensures continued relevance across all channels.
  • Visit stores to gather qualitative feedback, understand customer preferences, and refine assortment strategies accordingly.
  • Support the buying function through accurate administration and contribute to the development of scalable processes and best practices that enhance operational efficiency and meet the evolving needs of a fast-paced, multi-channel business.

THE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a contemporary brand, with proven buying experience at buyer level and a strong understanding of the Ready-to-Wear category.
  • Commercially minded with strong business acumen, an eye for product and detail, and a solid understanding of balancing creative vision with commercial viability.
  • In-depth awareness of trends, key brands, competitor activity, and evolving consumer behaviour.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to market shifts.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, while also working independently when needed.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfortable working with large data sets.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
