JOB PURPOSE:

As a Communications Intern, you’ll be at the heart of our transformation journey. You’ll support internal communications and stakeholder engagement across our Amsterdam office and beyond, working on our corporate brand – The Magnum Ice Cream Company – while interacting with all our iconic brands.

This is your opportunity to help shape how we communicate during a time of exciting change, while building your skills in storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and community building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Increase your understanding of Internal Communications by supporting communication efforts during a period of impactful organizational change.
  • Improve stakeholder management by assisting in the planning and execution of internal and external events, and engaging with cross-functional teams.
  • Build and strengthen community engagement by contributing to initiatives that connect and inspire colleagues across our Amsterdam office.
  • Create communication assets for internal campaigns and activations that reflect our evolving brand identity.
  • Contribute to external storytelling for The Magnum Ice Cream Company’s social media platforms, helping to shape our voice during this exciting transition.
  • Participate in issue management and change communication, gaining experience in navigating complex communication challenges.

YOU ARE THE PERFECT FIT IF:

  • You are available for 5 to 6 months starting 25th of August or 1st September 2025 (minimum 32 hours/week).
  • You are enrolled (3rd or 4th year) in a Bachelor in Communications field.
  • You have an affinity with corporate communication.
  • You are eager and excited to learn.
  • You excel in communication.
  • You want to learn more about external stakeholder management.
  • You are proactive.
  • You are fluent in English (Dutch is a pre)

As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
