Quality Manager EUV Factory at ASML

Introduction to the Job

Lead the development and integration of a high-impact quality organization within the EUV Factory (EF). As Quality Manager EF at ASML, you’ll drive strategic quality initiatives, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure quality is embedded across all operations. You’ll collaborate across departments and sectors to deliver measurable improvements that support ASML’s long-term business goals.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Drive the realization of the “Customer Eye for Quality” roadmap and long-term FLOW targets.
  • Deliver and deploy the strategic quality portfolio and Targets to Improve (TTIs).
  • Lead the development and execution of the department’s quality strategy and plan with a 1–2 year horizon.
  • Translate strategic targets into actionable quality plans aligned with ASML’s global roadmap.
  • Manage and develop a team of quality line managers and professionals.
  • Build and maintain a strong stakeholder network across sectors and business lines.
  • Use data analytics to drive performance improvements and resolve critical quality challenges.
  • Represent ASML in audits and industry forums, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of “Living Quality & Excellence” and lead community engagement.

Education and Experience

  • A Master’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in a global technology environment (e.g., automotive, electronics, semiconductor, healthcare).
  • Deep expertise in Supplier/Manufacturing Quality and advanced problem-solving techniques (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and managing resources within tactical timelines.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex quality programs.

  • Strategic and tactical thinking with the ability to simplify complex issues.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Hands-on leadership with a track record of driving and sustaining change.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills to build a performance-oriented, improvement-driven team.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in statistical methods.
  • Expertise in process improvement and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage expectations and resolve complex issues.

Other Information

You’ll operate in a complex, cross-sector environment, collaborating with senior stakeholders (typically JG 12–13). You’ll be responsible for managing budgets, aligning quality KPIs with business priorities, and ensuring knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the organization. We are open to applicants who can work 32-40 hours per week.
