Internship: Finance Business Partner (Personal Health Business)

In this role, you have the opportunity to gain experience as an assistant to the Finance Business Partner(s) for the Personal Health (PH) Business groups in short term performance tracking and management and longer term strategic financial modelling.

You are responsible for

• P&L modelling for short term and strategic decision making; cooperating with the different categories within Grooming and Beauty, Oral Healthcare and Mother & Childcare and in cross PH projects and assignments
• Support in the daily management with short term performance tracking and follow up
• Supporting Business Unit Marketing team with ad hoc analysis/deep dives on (sales & iGM) performance
• First level Business case review on data accuracy, underpinning and evidence
• Participate in improvement projects (e.g. iGM improvement project) and Lean initiatives

You are a part of

The PH Finance business partnering team is a dynamic and international team within the Personal Health Cluster of Philips. The team supports the Business teams of Oral Healthcare, Mother & Childcare and Grooming and Beauty. These teams develop and market hair removal products (IPL, epilators, shavers, trimmers, groomers), Haircare (Dryers, Straighteners, Styling brushes), electrical toothbrushes, baby bottles and soothers, globally while taking into consideration the local consumer habits and practices. The teams are spread globally with the MTs centered around Amsterdam. You will also be partnering with different functions (Marketing, R&D, SCM and FP&A) and markets around the globe.

• You are currently pursuing your studies as a university bachelor or master student in Finance or related education
• Analytically strong, proactive and solution oriented
• Strong communication skills, team player
• You have a can do mentality
• You have an excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• You are fluent in English (written and verbal)

Our intern remuneration package:

• Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
• Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300 net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255 net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) needs to be more than 1.5 hours.
• Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192 net depending on the distance between your home address and the Philips location.
• Paid holidays per internship term.
• The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop
