Strategic Partnership Manager at IBFD

IBFD, the world’s leading authority in cross-border taxation, is seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Manager to join our team in Amsterdam.

As a global provider of tax knowledge through publications, training, research, and data-driven solutions, IBFD serves a distinguished client base that includes Fortune 500 companies, international consultancy firms, tax advisors, governments, and academic institutions.

Role Overview

The Strategic Partnership Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding and strengthening IBFD’s global partner ecosystem. This position is responsible for managing existing commercial partnerships, identifying and securing new strategic alliances, and ensuring the successful execution of partnership agreements in alignment with IBFD’s product management strategy.

In this role, you will contribute directly to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and the long-term sustainability of IBFD’s collaborative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective partners.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Market & Clients, Product Management, Tech & Data, Tax Specialists, Legal, and Finance to develop and implement partnership strategies.
  • Design scalable frameworks for formalizing partnerships and ensure mutual value delivery.
  • Monitor and report on partnership performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Proactively address and resolve potential conflicts or operational challenges within partnerships.

Skills and qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in negotiating, closing, and managing long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Experience in developing partner programs within fast-paced, technology-driven environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate business opportunities into impactful collaborations.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and budgets.
  • Data-driven approach with a focus on performance metrics and continuous improvement.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a track record of driving innovation through partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a business-oriented environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build and leverage professional networks to achieve business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Familiarity with content and data solution delivery processes.
  • Knowledge of legal or tax-related publishing is considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Residency in or willingness to relocate to the Netherlands.

Salary & fringe benefits

We offer you a fulltime (37 hrs) gross monthly salary between €8,200 and €9,200 depending on background and relevant work experience, completed by an attractive package of fringe benefits:
