Brand Designer at Shiftbase

Shiftbase is entering its next stage of growth. With 8,500+ customers and solid growth ambitions, we're scaling our platform and teams across Europe. As we continue scaling, we’re looking for a Brand Designer to shape how Shiftbase shows up in the world.

The role

You’ll lead the development of a strategic brand identity system that brings our vision to life across product, marketing and culture. As our Brand Designer, you’ll take ownership of brand direction, shape how Shiftbase is understood in the market and ensure consistency across every touchpoint, while still rolling up your sleeves to execute when needed. This role combines leadership and craft: building the foundation for the brand to scale, and driving the design work that gets us there.

What you’ll do

  • Lead strategic brand development: shape and evolve our brand vision, positioning, and long-term narrative. Define the systems and principles that guide how Shiftbase is seen and remembered across Europe.
  • Design the brand identity system: develop a flexible, scalable identity system that supports marketing, product and culture.
  • Create scalable assets: design reusable templates for social, sales, marketing, and product teams to move fast without losing consistency.
  • Design visuals across web, product and campaigns, from homepage layouts to in-product animations and event materials.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: partner with Product Design, Product Marketing and Growth to make sure every visual supports a consistent brand story.
  • Drive impact: improve brand consistency, speed up execution and elevate how our brand is perceived both internally and externally.

You bring

  • A strong portfolio that shows range across brand identity, digital design and systems thinking.
  • Experience designing for SaaS or product-led companies.
  • Strategic brand thinking, shaping or evolving brand positioning, messaging or architecture.
  • Experience scaling or evolving a brand over time, not just designing, but guiding how it grows with the company.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a practical mindset, you care about craft and scale.
  • A collaborative approach, you know how to balance autonomy with feedback.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with product, marketing and sales teams

Bonus: you’re curious about creative possibilities with AI tools and you’ve dabbled in animation tools like Rive, Lottie, or similar

Impact to expect

In your first 3 months, you'll deliver:

  • Strategic brand foundations aligned with our company mission, product vision and experience vision, to guide how we show up for the people we serve
  • An updated brand identity system that expresses and reinforces these strategic foundations
  • One reusable, scalable design template, laying the groundwork for a growing asset library
  • A flagship visual asset (e.g., homepage, campaign or product launch creative)
  • A brand audit highlighting top opportunities to align, elevate, or clarify the brand experience

Our promise

  • Salary between €54.000 (medior level) - €85.000 (senior level), based on experience.
