About this role:

Interested in driving impact through exciting cross-functional strategy, growth, retention and GTM within one of the largest global online food delivery companies? We're looking for someone truly obsessed with optimizing the consumer, partner, and brand experience.

As Strategy and Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in the growth of our retail media offerings by defining and executing a GTM strategy for our advertising products and for drafting strategic narratives for stakeholders. Your ability to manage senior stakeholders and drive impactful projects from conception to execution will be key to your success.

You will work closely with the Director Retail Media in setting the scope and driving strategic programs of the cross-functional Global Retail Media team, the wider Sales organisation, and across the company globally to ensure that strategic programs meet the targets and objectives agreed by the business.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Global Sales Strategy & Planning: This involves shaping our global retail media sales strategy for both restaurants, groceries & retail and brands making sure it lines up with our overall business goals;
  • Be responsible for the GTM design and implementation of all our new and existing retail media inventory;
  • Chain Sales Enablement: Build out a full sales enablement strategy, arming our sales teams with the tools and resources they need to effectively sell to chain partners;
  • Support the team to adapt our global vision and global strategic roadmap to changing market needs;
  • Independently scope and lead complex strategic business programs, from conceptual development to execution;
  • Crafting compelling value propositions that meet advertiser needs and align with shopper behavior.
  • Balancing innovation with simplicity: building offers that are attractive but operationally feasible.
  • Build relevant analysis and dashboards, to drive data-driven decision-making by leadership and sales teams, working closely with analytics teams;
  • Communicate and cooperate with stakeholders on a strategic level articulates complex ideas clearly to different audiences

What will you bring to the table?

  • Significant experience in Strategy & Operations or Consulting;
  • Deep understanding of retail media networks (onsite, offsite, in-store);
  • Familiarity with advertising solutions (sponsored products, display, programmatic);
  • Ability to build, refine, and pitch media propositions based on customer and advertiser needs;
  • Ability to manage multi-functional projects with a global scope;
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and showcasing project management skills;
  • High degree of comfort with analytics, numbers, and business modeling;
  • Independent thinker, proactive, and able to see the big picture;
  • High energy, autonomy, and a "Get it done" attitude;
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to structure complex problems;
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment;
  • Great communicator, adaptable to different audiences in a multinational environment;
