We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer with strong user research skills who is eager to delve into the workflows of a wide range of healthcare professionals. Through user research, design, testing, and evaluation, you’ll contribute to projects that aim to improve the daily work of care providers. You’ll work closely with a team of software developers and collaborate with fellow UX Designers.
To succeed in this role, you'll engage with care organizations and their staff, sharing your insights within your project team and across the wider organization.
Your responsibilities
Your team
As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll be part of multiple teams. Alongside four other UX Designers, you’ll belong to the Dossier Tribe, where we coordinate projects and support each other to make a real impact on the work of care providers. We regularly check in with one another—on both content and personal levels—to maintain a supportive and positive team atmosphere. Your day-to-day project work will take place within a team of developers and designers. Depending on the project, you may also work with colleagues from commercial or support departments.
Our offer
As a Senior UX Designer at Nedap, you’ll make a meaningful contribution to our mission: to help people be more successful and fulfilled in their professional lives. We offer a competitive salary, aligned with your experience and background. You’ll also receive a 13th-month bonus, a solid pension plan, and profit-sharing, with the opportunity to become a Nedap shareholder.
We believe in trust and autonomy, so you’re free to decide your own working hours and vacation days. Personal and professional growth is a high priority—we provide an extensive onboarding process and encourage continuous development.
Required experience and skills
As a Senior UX Designer, you combine sharp analytical thinking with a strong user-centered mindset. You take a holistic view, can oversee multiple projects, and easily operate at a strategic level. You actively seek collaboration with stakeholders, enjoy sharing knowledge, and know how to bring colleagues and developers along in your process. With your strong communication skills, empathy, and coaching leadership style, you build strong, complementary teams. You’re not afraid to be critical and to think outside the box, always with a focus on impact and user experience.
Good to know: This role is for 32–38 hours per week. Hybrid (remote) work is standard at Nedap, and you’ll coordinate your schedule with your team to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You’re expected to be on campus in Groenlo at least two days a week.
We simplify the work of caregivers, making their tasks more seamless. Trusted by over 1,900 care providers in the Netherlands, our technology supports a sustainable shift, enhancing accessibility, affordability, and effectiveness in elderly care, disability care, mental health, domestic care, and general practice.
