Careers at AkzoNobel

Join AkzoNobel as a Talent Acquisition Partner

We’re looking for a proactive and energetic Talent Acquisition Partner who will take the lead in campus recruitment and manufacturing hiring across blue and white-collar roles. You’ll be a vital link between AkzoNobel and the next generation of talent, playing a key role in shaping the future workforce for our manufacturing sites in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles (blue and white collar), ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Design and execute campus recruitment strategies across universities, “hogescholen” and vocational schools related to manufacturing and technical disciplines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions and career centres.
  • Attend and represent AkzoNobel at job fairs, campus events, and school visits to promote career opportunities.
  • Organize and host in-house recruitment events at AkzoNobel locations.
  • Drive and launch employer branding and recruitment campaigns, particularly within manufacturing talent segments.
  • Leverage social media channels and digital tools to attract early-career and skilled manufacturing talent.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and provide market insights and strategic guidance.
  • Contribute to the selection and recruitment of participants for trainee programs, particularly within manufacturing and supply chain areas.
  • Build a talent pipeline by proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles.

What do you need to have to be successful in this role?

  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, ideally within manufacturing, supply chain, or campus recruitment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a natural ability to connect and build networks.
  • The ability to build long-term partnerships with schools and universities.
  • Experience in organizing recruitment events and using social media for employer branding and sourcing (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written), German language skills or any other European language is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car (for travel between sites and campus events).

What do we offer in return?

It’s a two-way street. This means that we offer not only a competitive salary but also believe in a healthy work-life balance.

  • Above average number of annual holidays (44 days' off.)
  • Participation in the AkzoNobel pension plan.
  • Fixed bonus (CLA)
  • Travel expenses to and from work.
  • Opportunities for ongoing education and professional development.
  • Hybrid way of working (60/40).
  • Being part of events and networking platforms.
  • Paint with a discount.
