Role description:

The Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Data and Insights role is part of the Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Centre of Expertise (COE) who are responsible for providing knowledge, expertise, strategic direction and workstreams needed to increase diversity, equity and inclusion and realise our vision of increasing access, enhancing welfare, and fostering a stronger sense of belonging for all- in short Improving Quality of Life.

The DEI Analyst will play a crucial role in advancing the organization’s DEIB objectives by conducting in-depth data analysis, creating impactful dashboards and storyboards, and providing both qualitative and quantitative insights. This role will also involve conducting external research, benchmarking DEIB practices, and translating data into actionable strategies to support organizational goals.

This position reports to the Director, DEIB Insights.

Role accountabilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to DEIB initiatives, workforce demographics, and employee engagement.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, storyboards, and reports to visualize DEIB metrics and trends effectively.
  • Perform both qualitative and quantitative analysis to uncover insights and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct external research and benchmarking to compare the organization’s DEIB performance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to enhance DEIB strategies based on data findings and research outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of DEIB objectives and integration of insights into organizational planning.
  • Present findings and insights to DEIB leadership and stakeholders, tailoring communication for diverse audiences.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the context of DEIB or HR functions.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of DEIB principles and practices, along with familiarity with industry benchmarks and research methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills to translate complex data into compelling narratives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
