Robotics Internship (5–6 months)

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Robotics Intern to support the development and testing of our next-generation robotic systems. You will work closely with our AI and robotics engineering teams on real-world applications involving mobile manipulation, 3D perception, and Nvidia-powered robotic pipelines.

We are currently scaling our robotics capabilities and are seeking a hands-on intern to help us push the boundaries of autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and integration of ROS2-based software for autonomous robots
• Design and test vision pipelines for 3D scene understanding and object detection
• Work on simulation and deployment pipelines using Nvidia Isaac Sim and Jetson hardware
• Contribute to modeling and environment design in 3D for robotic simulation and interaction
• Support testing and tuning of control and navigation algorithms for humanoid and mobile robots
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to integrate AI agents and robotics platforms
• Document and present findings, prototypes, and performance evaluations

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for robotics software development
• Familiarity with the Nvidia robotics ecosystem (Jetson, Isaac SDK/Sim, Omniverse)
• Practical experience with ROS2 and its ecosystem
• Background in 3D computer vision (e.g., point cloud processing, SLAM) and/or 3D modelling (e.g., Blender, Gazebo environments)
• Understanding of kinematics, control systems, and robot software architecture
• Strong debugging, testing, and documentation habits
• Proactive and independent mindset with the ability to contribute to fast-paced R&D

Preferred Educational Background

• TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, or University of Twente – MSc in Robotics, Systems & Control
• University of Amsterdam (UvA) – MSc in Artificial Intelligence or Computer Science
• VU Amsterdam / TU Delft – MSc in Computer Science
• De Haagse Hogeschool – Mechatronics (3rd or 4th year, graduation project)
