FEC Project Management Officer (PMO)

You and your role
A FEC Junior PMO Officer who coordinates, challenges and supports the progress tracking and steering on the FEC MI Oversight on behalf of the head of the FEC Chief of Staff team, and who collaborates with various business lines and FEC Tech, project managers within a large, dynamic environment to achieve required improvements.

The FEC MI Oversight department is responsible for strategic steering on MI/BI for FEC as a whole and will amongst others:

• Define the FEC MI strategic roadmap, including prioritized MI requirements and prioritization for technical development of the MI reporting landscape;
• Perform oversight on the FEC narrative, trends and analytics in reporting to ensure alignment with the strategic direction;
• Perform oversight and coordination on (overarching) data points, KPI and data definitions, MI requirements and thresholds;
• Coordinate with Business Advisory on business related reporting requirements.

As part of the setup the FEC MI Oversight function, the working group FEC MI Design Authority was started, covering all FEC pillars (CDD, TM, Sanctions) and all business domains (DRB, W&R and Subsidiaries).

The following processes and procedures are identified to be managed by the FEC MI Oversight team:

• FEC MI Design Authority (including the management of the required processes, progress meetings and planning-sessions)
• FEC MI Internal policy (for Reporting and Data)
• FEC MI Operating model (including governance, oversight, way-of-working, review cycles)

Your responsibilities

In relation to the assigned area of change:

• Support the FEC MI Oversight team: By coordinating, managing and creating progress updates and progress challenges, with a specific focus on stakeholder management, document writing and storytelling skills.
• Support Development and Maintain Reviews: Continuously review MI Oversight initiatives against the plan and new insights.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather business and IT insights and analyse the moving parts across the FEC landscape to streamline efficiencies.

Knowledge of and expertise in departmental reporting and presenting, an affinity with structuring of information and a team focus are essential for this role. As a Junior PMO within FEC MI Oversight you are critical, take responsibility and signal possible roadblocks within your assigned tasks. You actively seek collaboration, and you make the difference for the team. In addition, it's important that you recognize yourself in all of the below:

• Education/Work and attitude level: HBO or WO (university) with 0-2 years of experience.
• Experience in PMO or other support roles.
• Knowledge of and experience with end users tooling such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Good communication skills, in English and Dutch is a plus both verbal and writing.
• A self-starter with a critical mind-set, a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude. Note: knowledge of FEC risk is not a prerequisite.
