About this role

As a Support Technician within our EIT Operations department, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality internal IT support as part of our global Techaway team. Based in Amsterdam, you’ll be the second point of contact for end user support, helping to ensure our colleagues across the business have the tools and assistance they need to work efficiently.

You’ll contribute to the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of our IT services while working in an international environment and engaging closely with the EUC (End User Computing) management team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide second-line support to internal end users via the Techaway function
  • Support the Amsterdam office, ensuring proper processes are followed and service expectations are met
  • Deliver a high standard of customer experience and ensure performance and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved
  • Help maintain the availability, security, and scalability of our IT services platform
  • Contribute to the execution of our services roadmap and future planning for end user support
  • Collaborate with global teams to share insights and ideas for service improvement

Your profile and experience:

  • Previous experience in a first or second-line end user support role
  • Solid foundation in end user support tools and environments
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Confidence and independence in handling tasks with moderate guidance
  • A keen interest in IT support with the motivation to grow and learn

Technical skills:

  • Operating systems: Windows 10/11, macOS, Chrome OS
  • Applications: Google Workspace (G Suite), Jira (Atlassian), Slack
  • User/Device management tools: Active Directory, Google Admin, Intune, JAMF (desirable)

Soft skills:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Solution-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach
