About the Role

AkzoNobel is looking for a skilled finance professional to join our team! In this dual role, you’ll act as a key business partner for EMEA commercial teams, while also managing the global RD&I cost performance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with commercial teams to drive profitability and strategic planning.
  • Analyze performance, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage and report on global RD&I functional costs and drive cost agility.
  • Support pricing, contract compliance, and cost control initiatives.
  • Lead productivity and process improvement efforts across teams.

What you bring

  • University degree in Finance/Accounting; MBA, CMA, CIMA, or Executive Master preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance/business control roles.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management.
  • Confident communicator who can challenge and support senior leadership.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Hyperion, BW); fluent in English
