You can use your creativity to create new menus and you are looking for ways to enhance the guest experience by motivating your team to create meaningful moments for our guests during their stay. You can lead an operational team and you can be the glue between the outlets. With your excellent knowledge about food & drinks and your capability to work under pressure, you and your team will ensure our guest to receive unique experiences, perfect service and good food at Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Besides that, you and your team will contribute to even more hotel awards, such as Best Place to Work.

Due to your work experience, we understand that we do not need to explain to you what your daily tasks will be. Just in case, we will explain it shortly and we will tell you more about it during a conversation.

As Restaurant & Room Service Manager, you are responsible for managing the daily operation in our signature restaurant Bowery and room service. You use your creativity and knowledge to set trends, create new menus and promote our restaurant to external guests and companies.
You ensure excellent guest experiences by evaluating guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement and by training and motivating your team to exceed the expectations of our guests. Besides that, you are responsible for recruitment and evaluating the performance of your team and setting departmental targets and objectives. You take action to drive sales to maximize the revenue and control beverage and payroll costs. Your administrative tasks will include making schedules, holiday rosters, sick leave registration, creating new menus and offers and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Lastly, you are always willing assist other departments where necessary and are work together with other departments to achieve the tasks listed above.

Profil recherché

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a senior supervisory or management role in a Food & Drinks environment
• Excellent knowledge of food and drinks.
• A real team player with a positive attitude and capable of motivating and coaching a team
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations including flexibility in working days/ hours
• Strong organizational and communicative skills in English both verbally and in writing; Dutch would be beneficial
• Able to take ownership of tasks and identifies improvement areas
• Leadership skills to build the team of the Bowery Restaurant.
• Able to think out of the box and be creative
• In case you are an expat you are already in the possession of a valid residence and working permit for the Netherlands
