As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play an integral role in data product delivery and harmonization of data architecture. Join us and use your expertise to translate data requirements into impactful solutions for KPMG.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years proven experience in senior/lead data engineering, including design and implementation of complex data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with Azure (e.g., ADF, Synapse Analytics, Databricks) and big data technologies (e.g., PySpark, Hadoop)
  • Proficiency in Python and DevOps principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data architecture, including ETL processes from diverse sources to centralized repositories.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant solutions.
  • Implement and monitor data quality processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of data flow designs and processes.
  • Stay current with emerging data technologies and contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices.
  • Provide leadership and expertise within the development team, serving as a role model for effective collaboration.
