Senior Health & Absence Case Manager at Accenture

The work

Do you want to play a key role in guiding our employees in illness and contribute to a healthy and sustainable working environment? Are you that hands-on professional who knows how to tackle absenteeism issues with tact and decisiveness? Then we are looking for you!

As a senior Case Manager (Health), you are the main point of contact for employees, managers, and HR when it comes to absenteeism prevention, absenteeism, and reintegration. You support absent employees in a personal and goal-oriented manner and are an important strategic partner for management and HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support & Guidance of Absent Colleagues:

Provide guidance and support to employees who are absent, including helping them transition back to work, and ensuring a smooth and positive reintegration process. Thanks to your expert advice to employees on topics related to health, work-life balance, and wellbeing, you can help them make informed decisions regarding their physical and mental health.

  • Reporting & Documentation:

Preparing and managing of absenteeism files, ensuring that all relevant information and communication is accurately recorded and stored. Thanks to your keen eye for detail and knowledge of laws and regulations, your files are always in perfect shape.

  • Strategic partner:

You can identify both individual and collective absenteeism patterns and risks. You report regularly of these to management and work closely with the Health & Wellbeing lead to translate these into prevention initiatives.

  • Coordinating with all relevant parties:

Acting as the connecting link between all parties involved, such as the company doctor, the employee and management. You ensure that communication runs smoothly and that all support is well coordinated and appropriate for the employee in question.

  • Advising management and HR:

Advising and supporting managers and HR and help them to effectively tackle absenteeism issues.
