About the role:

In this role, you will be part of the Group Accounting, Consolidation and Reporting (“GACR”) team which is responsible for consolidation and financial reporting of Versuni. As well as annual, quarterly, and monthly financial reporting. The team is based in Amsterdam and has a size of 7 people. We are an international team and GACR also works on significant projects within Versuni such as finance improvement projects.

The impact you’ll make:

• Perform the monthly and yearly financial reporting and analytical review, focused on the consolidated statements of income at group level in an international environment
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for cooperate entity
• Support the team that prepares the annual report based on IFRS
• Work on improvement initiatives, enabling more efficiency and transparency in our closing processes
• Serve as bridge between the Group Accounting team in Amsterdam and the Accenture support team in India supporting the Month-end Closing process
• Perform process improvements projects, coming along during the year (e.g. participation in finance improvement-projects).
• Partner with IT, legal, Real Estate, and other corporate finance controllers to optimize financial closing process and ensure compliance with local regulations.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• A master’s degree in business economics and affinity with accounting
• Experience in consolidation and financial accounting/reporting
• Familiar with IFRS and willing to expand knowledge in area of financial accounting
• Strong ownership, proactive and project management
• Strong sense for cultural differences and how to bridge them
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, work accurately and with a structured approach
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in an international business environment
• Experience with SAP solutions (SAP/r3, BCS) and skill set in data analysis
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
