Foods Benelux is a key segment of the business contributing to nearly 1/3 of the Foods Europe business playing in the top priority verticals of Condiments, Cooking Aids and Mini meals, behind beloved brands like Calve, Lipton Iced Tea, and Knorr.

JOB PURPOSE:

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

  • Insights Generation: Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of market research studies, translating data into actionable insight.

  • Research & Project Management: Execute Market Research projects to support competitive 4G growth for the vertical across BENELUX.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to integrate insights into business strategies.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external research agencies and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality research projects.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present findings and recommendations to the manager and other stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making.

  • Market Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging methodologies to keep the research function at the forefront of innovation.

SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in market research (qualitative, quantitative, digital) excellent analytical skills, interest in consumer behavior, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. The ideal candidate will display a strong curiosity and desire to stay at the forefront of digital and technological developments and its application to research (I.e. Gen AI, Predictive analytics).

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading teams and influencing business decisions through insights.

  • Able to analyze and derive insights from diverse and complex data sets.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written, and verbal) up to senior stakeholders, internally and externally.

  • Good understanding of retail & channel landscape, including D-Commerce

  • Interest in consumer behavior / psychology

  • Stakeholder management

  • Strong business acumen

  • Understanding of market research methodologies covering shopper, innovation, media, communications, across qualitative, quantitative

  • Relevant Experience/ Curiosity in future fit (digital, AI, PDC, advanced analytics ) methodologies is an advantage/ preferred.

  • Good understanding of Retail Measurement services and / or use and analysis of consumer panel is an advantage/ preferred

  • Relevant knowledge of the Benelux Retail and communications Landscape is an advantage/ preferred.

  • Dutch and English

EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years in Market Research in either a client or supplier side role.

  • Local /Country Experience in a Marketing/Sales/Market Research function
