What are you going to do?

As a project manager at Demcon Life Science & Health you are the link between the customer and the internal development team. You manage the technical, organizational and qualitative aspects of the projects. You oversee and manage the entire process from quotation (associated assumptions, concept formation, risks, hourly budget and planning) to the realization of the project goal for the customer.

You also monitor technical progress. You are able to intervene proactively in the event of any bottlenecks. Finally, you ensure excellent communication with the customer, support within the project team and internal communication within Demcon. The team now consists of 8 Project Managers and it is your job to guide and support the junior and medior Project Managers. You are also partly responsible for further developing the processes and working methods within the Project Management team.

You work closely with our other Demcon branches in the Netherlands and you also have contact with our (international) customers. Our project teams are usually between 5 and 25 FTE and are multidisciplinary in nature. All this to realize an impact on medical and biotech-related product innovations from regional start-ups to international global players.

What do you bring to the table?

• A completed technical university education and extensive knowledge in your own technical field;
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience as a (technical) project leader / project manager focused on development / product development in the medical or biotech sector;
• Empathic ability and an enthusiastic personality.
