Processing Maintenance Planner (fulltime, 40 hours), this is your challenge

Maintenance Planners have a vital role in managing and coordinating maintenance tasks within the factory to ensure efficient operations. Their focus is to streamline routine maintenance procedures and ensure that all equipment and facilities are in working order. The goal is to ensure that the factory maintenance activities run smoothly and effectively.

As a Maintenance Planner, your responsibilities will include maintenance work planning and scheduling, estimating costs, and ensuring the availability and the efficient use of resources.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to manage and coordinate the factory planned maintenance operations. Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable about maintenance processes and equipment and able to identify opportunities for improvement.

What we are looking for in our processing maintenance planner role

Safety and Quality

• Respect and follow rules regarding safety, food safety, the environment and hygiene;
• Responsible for the safety of technicians and team, and ensure proper coaching to promote awareness as regards to unsafe conditions and behaviours.
• Participate and contribute to the maintenance team operational routines, including DER/DMR, MWG, WER, MER;
• Take ownership for delivering on the required KPIs such as EUPS, adherence to planned maintenance, adherence to critical work orders, maintenance cost, and report deviations and improvement proposals.

Planning & Scheduling

• Proactively coordinate planned maintenance activities with all relevant external and internal stakeholders (3rd party service providers, maintenance team, production, supply chain, projects, quality, etc.);
• Efficient/optimal planning and coordination of long-term planning, 6 weeks planning and bi-weekly planning;
• Owner of the planning and scheduling routine, including follow-up, and coordination with Maintenance Team Leader and MWG Lead;
• Monitor work order completion and backlog; schedule planned maintenance backlog in a timely manner;
• Coordinate execution of the maintenance plan with the Production Planner in a timely manner and align with Technical Store Team to ensure parts are available and ready on time.

Planning and Coordination of Planned Maintenance Execution

• Efficient/optimal planning and coordination of long-term planning, 6 weeks planning and bi-weekly planning, taking into account all necessary factors (such as manpower, production planning, safety, availability of parts, etc.), based on maintenance plans;
• Coordinate planned maintenance activities with all relevant external and internal stakeholders (3rd party service providers, maintenance team, production, supply chain, projects, quality, etc.);
• Responsible for ordering necessary materials and services (PM02, PM03), and performing associated administration (i.e. creating PRs, managing POs, GRs and invoices);
• Following up in a timely manner on delivery lead-time with external suppliers and Technical Store;
• Evaluate all notifications, in coordination with MWG Lead, and create the necessary work orders;
• Monitoring of maintenance actual vs planned budget for materials and services;
• Ensure parts required for WO execution are available on the shopfloor, and are cleaned and swabbed, in a timely manner based on (bi-)weekly plan.

Organizing Maintenance Stops & Shutdowns

• Coordinate Maintenance activities for Maintenance Stop & Shutdowns with Production, Projects and Supply Chain;
• Ensuring sufficient and correct staffing (internal and external), and coordinate external parties (scheduling, registering, providing correct information, and coordinating activities).

Continuous Improvement

• Support the Maintenance Engineer with improvement of maintenance plans by sharing input and feedback;
• Provide support and training (i.e. AMM, SAP, etc) to ensure meaningful and comprehensive information is available in coordination with MWG Lead;
• Optimize the maintenance planning based on input from maintenance team.
