Product Manager Traditional Floor Care at Versuni

About the role:

Representing the consumer during the entire End-to-End development project (value proposition co-development with Marketing, specifications settings, product development, LCM), you ensure that the targeted consumer group is satisfied when using the product. After NPI, you drive corrective actions to meet project targets as far as consumer satisfaction is concerned. You contribute to reducing the product portfolio complexity to meet VCP targets. Reporting into the Product Director on a day-to-day basis, this role ensures that innovation projects align with strategic objectives and effectively manages cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the Product Category Strategy (ownership from Marketing team) into product project specifications (proposition development phase, supporting Marketing). You are the product specialist of your portfolio: benchmarking competitors at same price points, analysing gaps to optimize product competitiveness.
  • Co-create Product Value Proposition together with Marketing. Consolidate Marketing inputs (Where to play, size of the prize, consumer insights and dilemma, claims) into a consumer-centric, differentiating and compelling Value proposition.
  • Work with the Marketing team to consolidate the Business Case to evaluate Sales impacts, ROI and IGM%, optimizing the product range mix (including number of SKUs).
  • Team up with the Project leader (who is responsible for the End to End project till launch + 6/8 months) to represent the consumer throughout the project development. Together with PRC, design all testing to validate consumer satisfaction and acceptance.
  • Post launch, loop markets and consumers feedback (RR, Consumer Care, VoC, etc.) with Quality post Market surveillance and Marketing team to actively develop and drive the necessary action plan that will lead to overall consumer satisfaction level.
  • During LCM, interact with the LCM team to create range improvement, extension and/or animation, with the supply team to plan the product end of life, with the DFX Project Leads to increase IGM%.

  • On-time Delivery: Percentage of projects completed on schedule
  • Number of products launched (in%) meeting project business objectives (T.O. IGM%)
  • Quality/consumer satisfaction: Percentage of deliverables meeting standards, Ratings & Reviews
  • Stakeholder Feedback: Satisfaction with project management and Marketing
  • Team Efficiency: Effective resource use and process adherence

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years in product management
  • Proven experience managing projects, budgets, timelines, and risks
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or related field, possibly engineering
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Strong communicator, capable of working and influencing with cross-functional teams
