Lifecycle management Design Quality Engineer at Philips

Job Description

In this role, you will play a vital part in IGT Systems' mission to swiftly deliver high-quality products that enhance patient care. With the support of data scientists, you will be instrumental in maintaining launched designs by developing data analytics solutions to improve the quality of IGT fixed systems.

Your role:

  • The role focuses on driving the development of data analytics solutions and overseeing the operational implementation of dashboards across various areas, including systems, software, and parts monitoring. Utilize post-market and factory quality data for analytics and statistical reporting to assess product performance and drive quality improvements.
  • To own the data analytics solution, serving as the critical link between the business owner and data scientists and engineers, to ensure all design quality requirements and criteria are met.
  • You will collaborate with the data scientists and engineers in the development and validation of data, such as usability, reliability, performance, supportability, manufacturability, localizability, safety, security, privacy, serviceability, sustainability, and costs
  • Execute timely quality engineering tasks, including assessing product design, reviewing test results and other performance data during change processes, and ensuring compliance through regular reviews and audits.

You're the right fit if:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Science or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Safety Engineering, R&D Engineering or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a complex technical industry is required
  • Experience or affinity with handling large data sets and applying data analytics
  • Excellent communication skills with clarity and confidence, ensuring effective coordination and the ability to set and manage priorities efficiently.
