Join Suitsupply as an Email Developer

If you're a proactive, detail-driven team player who loves turning designs into pixel-perfect code and building engaging email experiences, this role is for you. As an Email Developer, you not only understand HTML and the nuances of email rendering across clients, but you're also excited to work with modern tools—including AI-assisted coding (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor.ai) and email-specific platforms like Litmus, MJML, and Customer.io. You're curious by nature, collaborative by default, and always refining your craft.

At Suitsupply we’re scaling fast—and email plays a central role in our customer journey. You’ll join a flat, fast-moving team where you’ll have space to experiment, grow, and make a measurable impact from day one.

What you will do

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive HTML/CSS and MJML email templates for both transactional and marketing campaigns.
  • Own and build automated journeys, dynamic content, and event-triggered flows in Customer.io.
  • Ensure flawless rendering across all major clients and devices (Outlook, Gmail, iOS, Android, etc).
  • Leverage AI tools like Cursor.ai and GitHub Copilot and frameworks like MJML to boost development speed and code quality.
  • Use Litmus and other testing tools to QA emails across devices and platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, growth, and design to turn ideas into live, functional email experiences.
  • Run A/B tests, analyze performance, and iterate to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Stay up to date with email best practices, accessibility, and deliverability trends.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to optimizing internal workflows.

Who you are:

  • 2–4+ years of experience in email development or front-end coding with a focus on email.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and the quirks of email rendering (tables, inline styles, fallbacks, etc).
  • Hands-on experience with Customer.io.
  • Experience building and maintaining both transactional and campaign-based emails.
  • Skilled in MJML, Liquid, or similar templating languages for dynamic content.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to support development and accelerate workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in pixel-perfect rendering.
  • A team player who enjoys cross-functional collaboration and clear communication.
  • Curious, growth-minded, and always improving your craft.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Segment (CDP) or similar event-based data tools.
  • Experience working with messaging APIs like MessageBird, Twilio, or others.
  • Understanding of localization/internationalization and seasonal campaign nuances.

What you will get:

  • Autonomy: Space to build, test, and ship without red tape—your voice matters here.
  • Growth: We value learning and provide real opportunities to expand your role and skillset.
  • Impact: Your emails will reach thousands (and growing)—a core part of our brand experience.
  • Modern Stack: Work with tools like Customer.io, Segment, Litmus, MJML, and AI-powered dev environments.

Founded in Europe in 2000, Suitsupply has grown to over 90 international stores in cities such as Milan, London, Zurich, Amsterdam, New York, Toronto, Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition to our ever-expanding number of brick-and-mortar locations, we maintain a strong online presence, allowing Suitsupply to bring our style and top-tier service to all corners of the globe.

In an industry where fast fashion dominates and craftsmanship is fast disappearing, Suitsupply introduces a better option: one where no attention to detail or quality is ever spared. That’s why we use only the finest Italian fabrics sourced from mills such as Ferla, E. Thomas, Larusmiani and Vitale Barberis Canonico.

We have received widespread accolade from the likes of GQ, Esquire, and, perhaps most notably, a Wall Street Journal blind test that rated a $600 Suitsupply suit in a first-place tie with a $3,600 Armani.

While high-quality suiting at an affordable price point remain at the core of all that we do, our versatile range includes jackets, trousers, outerwear, shoes, accessories and attire available as prêt à porter and made-to-measure.

At Suitsupply, we pride ourselves in taking innovative approaches to traditional problems. This has led to the development of technologies such as our Design Your Own feature, our Garmentor app, and a commitment to in-house tailoring, providing quick alterations while you wait for a perfect fit every time. Each and every sales associate receives in-depth training through our acclaimed Suit School, bringing the unmatched level of passion and expertise that make Suitsupply’s customer service stand out.

The message is clear. We believe that nobody should leave Suitsupply with anything less than a perfect fit. If you’re equally devoted to quality, check out our jobs page for opportunities to join us.
