What you’ll do
- Digital Strategy: Define and execute the purchasing digital strategy in collaboration with Key Account Managers
- Implement a digital roadmap to ensure the successful integration of digital solutions
- Screen the market for innovative technologies and solutions relevant to our purchasing operations
- Global Process Ownership: Take ownership of the source-to-pay (StP) process within purchasing on a project basis
- Drive continuous improvements in the StP process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Possess general knowledge about all areas along the StP process
- Stakeholder Guidance and Training: Guide stakeholders and regional teams by providing information and training on digital tools and process adherence
- Cascade information and training to ensure consistent understanding and utilization of digital solutions
- Solution Design: Understand and challenge stakeholders' needs for processes and software
- Design solutions that meet the requirements while adhering to audit standards
- Translate solution designs into requirement catalogues and lead dialogue with IT teams
- Simplification: Continuously challenge existing processes and tools to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage change by implementing simplified processes and tools
- Digital Upskilling and Process Knowledge: Provide trainings and materials to enhance the digital skills of the purchasing community
- Stay updated on the latest digital trends and innovations in the market
- Support the ingestion of innovation into our digital roadmap through market screening and participation in relevant fairs, exhibitions, and roundtables
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, IT, Supply Chain Management)
- Proven experience of minimum 2-3 years in driving digitalization initiatives within purchasing or related functions
- Strong understanding of source-to-pay processes and tools
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects
- Proficient in requirement engineering, process modeling, and process mining techniques
- Experience in providing consulting services to stakeholders on digitalization strategies
- Knowledge of IT strategy and its alignment with business objectives
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with portfolio management concepts to prioritize and manage digitalization initiatives
