As Equipment Manager Non Floating Equipment your challenge is to coordinate in all activities concerning HMC's Non Floating Equipment. You are responsible for support to the Vessel Management Team and you coordinate the valid date of certification of the equipment in accordance with the applicable regulations. You are responsible about critical maintenance and the related operational and financial impact and make a planning for R & M and investment programs in consultation with the Vessel Management Team and the Operations Department. The Equipment Manager also contributes to optimize and improve the technical knowledge within the HMC organization. A pro-active work mentality and flexible attitude towards travelling is needed to be a valuable team member.

As an equipment manager of Non Floating Equipment you are accountable for the technical, financial and safety Asset performance (short and long term) including commitments.

You are accountable for:

  • Provision of complete, fit for purpose and reliable technical and asset related financial input in tenders
  • Coordination of planning of R&M and equipment investment programs to limit critical maintenance time
  • Monitoring and supervision of R&M and Investment procedures and activities
  • Definition and set up of R&M Project team
  • Initiation of Equipment inspections
  • Priorities for R&M and Investment activities
  • Approval of scopes of work, plans and schedules for R&M activities

This position requires a high degree of assertiveness, proactivity and flexibility. A person who can contribute to solutions for our current and future challenges. Furthermore, you have:

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Nautical/Naval Architecture/Electrical discipline;
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience,
  • Good practical and theoretical knowledge of the Equipment Technical Specifications;
  • Good practical experience with Equipment Management of complex installations;
